Owen and Xander Burbidge are hosting a summer garden social at their home in West Fenham.
As well as strawberry treats, Pimm's and Prosecco, there will also be a raffle plus a collection of plants for sale, and if you would like to donate a garden or house plant we would welcome this. Please drop a text or WhatsApp message to 07984333804 if you plan to donate a plant.
Our annual garden party celebrates strawberries and friendly company, a nice garden and good conversations. The ticket price includes the cost of the Pimms and Strawberries. There will also be a raffle.
Our speaker will be David Howarth, former MP for Cambridge, who will be talking about his new book - "Being Liberal: The Liberal Disposition in Contemporary British Politics"

As the dust settles after a historic local election campaign, this is a chance to thank everyone who helped make our progress possible - whether you knocked on doors, made calls, delivered leaflets, donated, stood as a candidate, or supported the campaign in any other way.
We will be celebrating the election of Linda Wade, James Ortiz and Sofia Gurrola as Liberal Democrat councillors for Earl’s Court, as well as the strong effort across the wider borough.
We are also delighted that Victoria Collins MP, Liberal Democrat MP for Harpenden and Berkhamsted, has agreed to give our keynote address.
There will be one welcome drink per person and a selection of finger food, followed by a cash/card bar.
During the evening we will also hold a silent auction to help support future local campaigning. Prizes include a Bob Geldof autographed Fender guitar, signed books from Dave Stewart and Bear Grylls, and two tickets to John Simpson: The Leaders and Lunatics Tour at Cadogan Hall.

We'll be meeting outside the Civic Centre at 11:30am on Saturday 25 July, ready for the march to set off at noon.
This year's route is slightly different. We'll march from the Civic Centre, down Northumberland Street and finish at Grey's Monument, where speeches will take place. Councillor Mark Mitchell, the Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader of Newcastle City Council has been invited to speak at Monument.
It would be great to have a strong Liberal Democrat turnout. Pride is an important opportunity to stand with our LGBTQIA+ communities and show our support for equality and inclusion across our city.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy an afternoon in the glorious West Berkshire countryside.
There’ll be a feast of delicious food and drink, music to enjoy in a beautiful rural setting.
And there’ll be entertainment to suit all ages: Indoor and outdoor games including croquet, table tennis, pool, table football and of course a raffle (please bring some cash!)
